So today I went to get my oil changed and as always I had the Sleep album playing in my car (I keep all 3 cd's in my car for what I call "travelin music"). When the mechanic drove my car around to me and was giving me my keys he says "oh hey, uh..who is that playin in your CD?" I start gushing "oh that's KIMBERLY FREEMAN, blah blah blah, isn't she great, blah blah blah, you should go see her tomorrow night at WR, blah blah blah, did I mention she's amazing?" He said he was listening to it while fixing my car and thought your voice was beautiful and liked what he heard of the CD. So I told him about you playing at white Rabbit tomorrow and I even had a bunch of OED stickers in my car from ordering the CD so I gave him one so he would remember the name of the band and told him to check you out on myspace or your website! He said he was gonna go to your show after listning to me gush about how he wouldn't be disapointed if he did.

I was so proud I could preach the gospel of KIMMIE!

This is why all fans should always listen to OED in their car because you never know who will hear it and ask about it! fast food drive throughs, tellers at banks, even at a red light, crank it up! :D

Went to the mechanic again today. My car was broken down Saturday (which is why my planned trip to the doll house was officially grounded and I became a no show--watched davtv of it though)

Anyways a different mechanic from the one I saw last time sat in my car to turn it on and saw my one eyed doll sticker in my car and he started talking about you. Apparently he's a fan too! So he showed me pics on his iphone of you at Texas Rock Fest and we talked about how awesome the band was and different venues we've seen ya until my gas light came on. Oh crap! We had left the car on and we got distracted talking about OED!

You have got a blue collar following here for sure! And you are really famous!

Holy Crap the same happened to me, small world!!!!

I went to my friend's Car & Truck Repair Shop in New Jersey to get my oil changed in my truck. As I pulled into the bay I had Monster from One Eyed Doll playing loud & proud, of course I have One Eyed Doll stickers in my truck. My friend asked who is that singing?? I started to tell him about the band and the lead singer Kimberly Freeman how AMAZING they are. He continue to listen while changing my oil ( YAY HE IS HOOKED LIKE ME!! ) I told him about the Rock Show on April 2009 when the band was at my house puting on a GREAT show for my newphew & his friends. He kicks himself in the ass because he was away that weekend.., ( OH WELL YOU SNOOZE YOU LOSE ) I gave him stickers, told him about One Eyed Doll MySpace & yes he is now a DOLL! :) The stickers I gave hime he stuck them all on the walls in his shop..,he transformed into a doll right before my eyes AMAZING!!!!
