Described as Strawberry Shortcake meets Gwar and Valentine's Day meets Halloween with the visual impact of Japanese Anime, One-Eyed Doll is an award-winning Austin, Texas power rock duo with a loyal global fan base and extensive international press exposure. In 2009, 2010 2011 the group swept the SXSW Music Awards in categories such as Best Punk Band, Best Metal Band, Best Goth Band, Best New Band, Best Acoustic Guitarist, Best Electric Guitarist, Best Producer, Best Drummer, Best Songwriter, Best Female Vocalist and more. The group has independently released three full-length albums, appears in Revolver, Guitar World and Guitar Player magazines and has left several national tours in its wake including major anime conventions (DragonCon, AniMix, IKKiCON, Anime Overload, ShadoCon, etc.) Blazing the band's wildfire buzz amongst their growing legions of religiously crazed fans is One-Eyed Doll's cult leader: the impossible-not-to-love Kimberly Freeman, whose punishment is so sweet you'll beg for more.

The lean, mean line up of guitarist/vocalist Kimberly Freeman and drummer Jason "Junior" Sewell can fit onto any size stage and setup/tear down in the blink of an eye. Their high energy stage antics are perfect to rile up the crowd on any rock, punk, metal, goth, industrial U.S. and/or Worldwide tour.

Here are some of the exciting things that are going on with One-Eyed Doll right now:

• Press: Front woman Kimberly Freeman landed the inside cover of Revolver Magazine’s special edition issue who named her one of “The Hottest Chicks in Hard Rock.” Freeman has been prominently featured in Guitar Player Magazine, along with spotlights in Guitar World and dozens of other press outlets in past months. Guitar Player Magazine's 2011 Guts and Glitter issue has recognized Kimberly as one of the 20 most Extraordinary Guitarists in the world along side the likes of Joan Jett, Bonnie Raitt, Lita Ford and Nancy Wilson.  

• SXSW Awards: The SXSW festival is arguably the hippest taste-maker event in the world for indie and unsigned bands. One-Eyed Doll has swept the SXSW Austin Music Awards for the past four years. Most recently the group took home two AMA awards for Best Punk Band, Best Goth Band and was nominated in 15 other categories including Best Rock Band, Best Metal Band, Best Female Vocalist, Best Guitarist, Best Drummer, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, etc.

• Sylvia Massy: One-Eyed Doll has finished recording their upcoming album with multi-platinum grammy award-winning producer Sylvia Massy (Tool, Johnny Cash, Prince, The Red Hot Chili Peppers).  

• America's Got Talent: One-Eyed Doll's Kimberly Freeman led the band Arc Attack in America's Got Talent Semi-Finals. America's Got Talent is the #1 ranked show in America and has over 10 million viewers.

• Sales: The band has sold over 10,000 CDs and over 40,000 songs downloaded via iTunes, Bandcamp, Amazon, etc. without the help of a label!

• Licensing: Members of One-Eyed Doll have licensed music for radio, television, films and video games including the new theme song for the massively popular online game AdventureQuest Worlds called "Battle On," which is featured in the game and AQ’s TV ads on Comcast and Direct TV. You can regularly hear music from the newest One-Eyed Doll album in MTV "Road Rules".
